Karma's awesome and people suck

This is Karma. Animal control brought her in last Weds for a quick look and then to be put down. When she came in we were all in shock when she pranced right up and started licking fingers and doing pet me nose while her ear and other bits were hanging off.

It's about 95% likely she was used as a bait dog to train other dogs for fighting due to the amount of bite wounds and general trauma.

So two of the Vets I work with along with all the staff (yes including me even if she isn't a cat) decided to take her on an raise money to fix her up and find her a good home. We still need a bout $500 to cover all the costs, surgery getting her weight up etc, but at the moment she's doing great and really likes to rub her stitches and sores on you in between trying to steal kisses. And yeah she lost the ear, but fortunatly the maggots that were there didn't get to her eardrum so she can still hear.
